Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Iceland's Reykjavik. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the first female to win in the CrossFit Games twice. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. Also, she was credited with being the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's direction. Following that, she participated again with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She was the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie was again victorious at the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. Besides this in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie has become a famous athlete when she gained fame. She's worked with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others. A few thousand people subscribe to her self-titled Youtube Channel, where training videos as well as travel and family videos are posted.
